The Honorable Richard J. Maddigan has been an Administrative Law Judge since 2001. He was originally assigned to the Social Security hearing office in Charleston, West Virginia. He was transferred to Colorado Springs in 2004. Judge Maddigan is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Boalt Hall School of Law where he was an Associate Editor on the law review. He practiced law in California for 30 years prior to his appointment as an ALJ.
