Eric J. Kelly, Esq., is originally from the Indianapolis area and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University in 2009. Eric moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2010 to attend law school at the University of Colorado, earning his J.D. in 2013. After law school, Eric worked as an assistant attorney general in the State Services section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and later clerked for the Honorable Lily W. Oeffler, the probate judge in Jefferson County. Eric joined the firm in 2016 and practices in the areas of Trust and Estate Litigation, Settlement Planning, Estate Planning, Guardianships and Conservatorships, Medicaid appeals, Determinations of Heirship for Oil and Mineral Interests and fiduciary representation. Eric is a member of the Trust and Estate and Elder Law Sections of the Colorado Bar Association, and the Co-Chair of the Medicaid Subcommittee of the Elder Law Section. Also, in 2020 Eric was selected as a Rising Star in the area of Probate Litigation by Colorado Super Lawyers. Eric is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, backpacking, and woodworking.
