He represents companies at all stages of litigation and from varied industries, including medical technology, high technology, financial services, oil and gas, franchising, insurance, and construction. Chris has litigated cases involving trade secret claims, non-compete provisions, statutory and common law fraud claims, consumer fraud claims, franchise disputes, construction defect claims, real estate disputes, and breach-of-contract claims. He has also litigated many class actions, from handling motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment to navigating class certification, class notice and post-certification issues, including appeals. He has successfully obtained asylum for Somali refugees fleeing persecution by Al-Shabaab, a terrorist group affiliated with Al-Qaeda. Chris graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University in 2003, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2008. He was recognized in the Rising Stars Edition of Colorado Super Lawyers for Commercial Litigation in 2015 and 2016.
