Maritza D. Braswell

The Honorable Maritza Dominguez Braswell is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She was appointed to the court on January 21, 2022, and assumed office on July 6, 2022. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she worked as a deputy attorney general for the Colorado Attorney General's Office and an attorney in private practice. Judge Dominguez Braswell earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Denver in 2002 and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2008.
