Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLPElizabeth J. (Lisa) Bondurant is a partner in Womble Carlyle's Business Litigation Practice Group in the firm's Atlanta office. Her practice is concentrated in life insurance and financial services litigation, including ERISA. For over twenty years, Lisa has been lead counsel on a variety of cases involving complex insurance issues, ERISA, RICO, life, health, disability, and accidental death benefits, broker, producer and agent disputes and managed care litigation. Lisa's practice spans the Southeast and she is admitted in all federal and state courts in North Carolina and Georgia, and the Fourth, Sixth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal. Lisa is active in professional organizations and community affairs. She is a former chair of the Life, Health, and Disability Committee of the Defense Research Institute and the Life Insurance Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association (TIPS). Lisa was elected in 2007 to the Council of TIPS and is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Association of Life Insurance Counsel. Lisa has published extensively on financial services, insurance, and ERISA matters. She has been a frequent speaker on those topics at seminars, including the ALI-ABA Conference on Insurance Industry and Financial Services Litigation, ACI ERISA Litigation Conferences and the Life, Health and Disability Seminar of the Defense Research Institute.
