Katherine “Kate” H. R. Mackey, Esq., began her workers’ compensation career in 1993.  She attended University of Michigan and CU Law, graduating with her JD in 1991.  Kate has served on the Board of the PWC and is presently on the Executive Committee of the CBA Workers’ Compensation Section.  Kate helped establish what has become a thriving public art program in her community, acting as chair for several years for that committee.  Kate has also chaired the Board of the Colorado SIDS Program. She is a committed coach for her local CBA High School Mock Trial Team.  Kate has been with the firm of Ruegsegger Simons & Stern, LLC since 2007, with a focus on defense, and has been honored to present for several Colorado Bar Association Workers’ Compensation CLEs.
