Emily P. Koekkoek, Esq., is a Shareholder at Sherr Puttmann Akins Lamb, PC. She has been practicing law since 2012, dedicating most of her years in practice to family law. She represents individuals in a wide variety of family law matters including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody, post-decree modifications, adoption proceedings, paternity actions, dependency and neglect cases, and family law appeals. Emily has also completed the 40 Hour Mediation Training with Judy Mares-Dixon and is a skilled mediator. Emily has been named a “Ones to Watch in America” by The Best Lawyers since 2021 and a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” since 2022. Emily is also dedicated to access to justice for all. She is a dedicated executive board member and volunteer attorney for the Metro Volunteer Lawyers, serving as the Chair of the Board for the 2025 – 2026 term. Emily is the President Elect for the 2025-2026 term of the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Outside of the office and courtroom, Emily enjoys spending time with her Husband and their Goldendoodle, Kirk.
