Douglas A. Elenowitz
EnviroFinance Group LLCDouglas A. Elenowitz, manages the origination, and assists in the structuring, negotiating and closing of acquisitions of urban infill and environmentally complex real estate across the United States. Mr. Elenowitz also manages project development, re-development or repositioning opportunities undertaken by EFG, including risk management, zoning, design, permitting, pre-construction and construction activities, marketing, and disposition of assets. He has worked at the confluence of environmental complexity and finance since 1995, and has a unique expertise in coordinating development and remediation to isolate liability and manage financial risk. Mr. Elenowitz has written numerous articles on the topic of Brownfield development and has been a speaker on the topic of development and risk management strategies at regional and national conferences. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute Urban and Mixed Use Development Council, the National Brownfield Association, the Real Estate Council of the University of Colorado, serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Museum of Denver, the Denver Public Schools Bond and Mil Levy Oversight Committee and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Denver. Mr. Elenowitz holds degrees in Environmental Health Science from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
