Susanne Hoogwater is a lawyer, legal information designer, visual facilitator, and creative entrepreneur. She practiced law as an attorney and corporate lawyer in the Netherlands for twelve years. Since 2004 she has been a pioneer in visual tools to support communication between lawyers and consumers of legal information. She published a book (in Dutch) titled " Visual language for lawyers". She took training in graphic recording in Canada and Denver, and basic mediation training with CDR associates in Boulder. She applies her visual thinking skills and tools to support conflict resolution and peacebuilding meetings through her business PeaceMapping.
