Lynda S. Newbold

Lynda Newbold, Esq., joined Ruegsegger, Simons & Stern LLC in November of 2007. She has focused her practice on the defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters for over twenty years. During that time, Ms. Newbold has lectured employer groups, self-insured's and attorneys on various topics including defense of workers' compensation cases and safety matters. Ms. Newbold graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She then attended Tulane University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree in 1984. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1985 and the Colorado bar in 1990. Ms. Newbold is a member of the Denver Bar Association and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Colorado Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section. She has been recognized as a 5280 Top Lawyer by 5280 Magazine for the years 2017 – 2020.
