John A. Rymers

John A. Rymers, M.A., LPC, is a mediator and Licensed Professional Counselor. He has a Master's degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. He has been in private practice since 1986. Much of his practice has been involved in the area of domestic relations working with high-conflict divorce clients as a mediator, Child and Family Investigator (CFI), Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker (PC/DM) and an arbitrator.  In 2008, John joined with Debbie Reinberg to start the firm, ELDEResolutions, LLC. ELDEResolutions specializes in resolving elder care and multigenerational disputes offering mediation, facilitation, conflict coaching and training. Trained as a mediator in 1984 by CDR Associates, John worked with CDR as a Senior Associate co-mediating divorce cases with less experienced mediators and assisting with mediation training as a coach for students learning mediation. He continues to work with aspiring mediators by coaching at the CBA mediation trainings.  He has been active in promoting the mediation profession by participating in various committees that helped forge the profession in Colorado. Besides Domestic and Eldercare, John has mediated in a variety of settings including EEO, workplace, special education, and church congregations. He is a Practitioner Member of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
