Nicholas . Catanzarite

Honorable Nicholas Catanzarite graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from Michigan State University in 1999. He moved to Colorado the same year to begin competing as a disabled skier with the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, CO. He was a member of the U.S. Paralympic team and competed in three Paralympic Games: 2002 Salt Lake City, UT, 2006 Turino, Italy, 2010 Vancouver, Canada. He graduated from DU law in 2011 with a JD and an MA in international studies and was in private practice in Denver and Grand County before being appointed to the bench in 2015.
