Jane K. Castro

Jane Castro, Esq., is Chief Deputy Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She has dedicated her professional career to the judiciary, clerking for U.S. Magistrate Judge William P. Lynch in the District of New Mexico, U.S. Magistrate Judge Kathleen M. Tafoya in the District of Colorado, and Colorado Supreme Court Justices Alex J. Martinez and Brian D. Boatright before joining the Tenth Circuit in 2012. Jane served the Tenth Circuit as Counsel to the Clerk in the Clerk’s Office and as a staff attorney in the Office of Staff Counsel before becoming Chief Deputy Clerk in 2020. Jane received a dual JD and MA in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
