Jason Cole is a 20-year veteran of software and technology startups. He has spent most of his career leading high-performing software development teams in a variety of industries, including consumer and B2B e-commerce, education, financial services, and total benefits outsourcing. He has led small and large development organizations with structures that ranged from fully onsite to fully distributed, and has had a variety of successes and failures working with offshore teams in Asia and Europe. As a consultant in the Northeast, he led a practice that taught Fortune 100 companies the benefits of Agile development, working with them to define an Agile methodology that worked in their corporate environment. He is currently the VP of Product Development for the Reed Group, a provider of SaaS leave management solutions based in Westminster, CO.
