Sara C. Sharp
SK&S Law GroupSara C. Sharp, Esq. grew up in east Tennessee and attended school in Oklahoma. She obtained her BA in English Literature from Northeastern State University a year early with a 4.0 GPA. She attended law school on a full-tuition scholarship, and also received her JD from University of Tulsa a semester early at the top of her class. During law school, she interned for several months at a United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands. The day after she graduated law school, she loaded up her car and drove from Tulsa straight to Denver where she promptly studied for and passed the Colorado bar exam. She's been practicing law in Colorado ever since. She began practicing as a litigator and still boasts a perfect jury trial record (she won her first and only jury trial). However, after two years, she determined litigating was not her long-term fit and began transitioning into commercial transactions and general corporate work. After a couple years of representing very large Fortune 100 companies, she left the multi-national firm she was working at to focus on providing legal services to smaller and medium-sized businesses. In 2017, she affiliated with some like-minded attorneys at a boutique business law firm and in 2018 she was made partner. It was at this firm that Sara met Christina Saunders and John Koechel. The three of them founded SK&S Law Group LLP which opened for business on January 1, 2019.
