Cathleen M. Giovannini, Esq., has been practicing law since 1992.  She is licensed to practice in Missouri, New York, California, and Colorado.  She has a bachelor's degree from UCLA, and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.  She served as a staff attorney for the federal Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and an elbow law clerk for the Honorable Myron H. Bright of the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals.  Cathleen has practiced as a legal aid attorney, private practitioner, and government attorney.  She served as a deputy county counsel for the County of Monterey, California, from 2008 to 2017, representing Monterey County Adult Protective Services and the Monterey County Public Guardian, as well as Child Protective Services.  For several years, she worked for the Denver Public Administrator, the law firm of Steenrod, Schwartz, and McMinimee (now Schwartz, McMinimee and Andrew, LLC).  She has served as an assistant city attorney for the City and County of Denver since 2020, serving in the Human Services Unit for the child welfare appeals team, child welfare intake team, and as the attorney for Adult Protective Services.
