Chad Cornelius is the Chief Information Officer of the Colorado Judicial Department and currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Mathematics from Regis College. Chad also holds a Master's of Science in Business Administration from Regis University and received his certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as obtained his certificate as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)2. Chad offers a unique combination of operations, software development, complex systems architecture, project management, strategy and e-business management experience within technology driven industries. Chad recently presented at the 2017 IT Summit in Denver on the Courts journey toward digital transformation, and co-authored an article titled Integrated Colorado Courts Electronic Filing System: The Next Generation of E-Filing for the Colorado Lawyer. Prior to joining the Judicial Department, Chad served as a Unix Systems Administrator for Sun Micro Systems and a Java Software Engineer for Cabela's Inc.
