Jennifer D. Weiler, MA, LPC is an expert in the area of trauma and attachment. She is trained in EMDR, regulatory therapy, and somatic interventions. She spent over 10 years providing therapy to child-welfare clients in Jefferson County and understands the dynamics of the child-welfare system. She is currently in private practice specializing in trauma, chronic illness and attachment issues. She provides full and half day trainings for clinicians wanting to use more somatic and brain-based interventions in their practice. She also provides trainings for other professionals working in the child welfare system to help them manage frustration and triggers around secondary trauma and compassion fatigue.
