Joyce Smith, PsyD, LPC, LAC, is clinical director of Creative Treatment Options in Arvada, Lakewood and Westminster. Creative Treatment Options is an outpatient chemical dependency treatment center whose focus is on dual diagnosis. Dr. Smith holds a master's degree in marriage and Family Therapy from University of Colorado and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of Denver. She has been practicing in the Denver area for more than 20 years. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and chemical dependency with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Containment and Resolution Therapy. Dr. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor in the State of Colorado.
