Lori Grace Kochevar, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an adoptive mother with twenty years of clinical expertise in the child welfare system. Along with a Masters degree Lori has extensive expertise in the physiological components of trauma and attachment issues in children and how this affects the families and systems that are entrusted with their care. My path is to partner with others to revolutionize how we provide support to foster and adoptive families and the children we serve. As a Master Therapist, Lori is starting a new conversation in the child welfare system. In questioning long term assumptions we have collectively accepted, she has found clinically and empirically based models with results that increase our effectiveness and efficiency to deliver fast, safe, long-lasting results to the families we serve.
