Ralf Topper, Senior Hydrogeologist, has earned advanced degrees in Geology (BS, MS) and Hydrogeology (MS), and has over 31 years of professional geoscience experience. He is a Certified Professional Geologist, a Geological Society of America Fellow, and an active member of both national and state groundwater societies. Prior to joining the Colorado Division of Water Resources, he spent 11 years in a similar capacity with the Colorado Geological Survey. Ralf has authored numerous papers and publications on Colorado’s ground-water resources including the award winning Ground Water Atlas of Colorado. He is currently interested in aquifer recharge/storage opportunities in Colorado. Ralf is a long-term resident of Conifer, enjoys snowboarding and motorcycling, and has two sons finishing college.
