Carolyn Fritz has been working in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for almost 20 years, with diverse mapping experience ranging from fiber optic networks to wildlife habitat and irrigated agriculture. She has spent the past 15 years with the Colorado Water Conservation Board, digitally mapping and analyzing everything from floodplains and fish habitat, to ditch systems and cultivated crops. All this mapping experience is for naught however, as she often finds herself directionally challenged when away from the computer.
