Jeff Lawrence is the Director of the Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability. He has served in that capacity since October of 200S. The division administers a number of programs including the Environmental Agriculture, Environmental Leadership, Dairy, and Food Programs. Additionally, the division manages a number of department initiatives including: Supplemental Environmental Projects (SEPs), Colorado Medication Take-Back Project, Greening Government Initiatives, and Environmental Justice. He has worked in the department since 1992. He has managed a number of programs within the department including positions as the State Retail Food Program Manager within the division and the Drinking Water Compliance Unit Manager in the Water Quality Control Division. Jeff has degrees in Microbiology and Environmental Health and from Colorado State University Gary W. Baughman, P.E., has held various positions in the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for 23 years. He has served as Division Director for the past 8-years. As Division Director, he is responsible for administering Colorado's solid and hazardous waste regulatory programs, and the programs that oversee the cleanup of federal facilities, Superfund sites, sites covered by the Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act, and Colorado's voluntary clean up and Brownfield's programs. In addition, he is responsible for Colorado's radiation control program.
