Adam Kimberly age 45, is co-founder and Managing Partner of Montis Capital, a Colorado-based private equity firm investing in lower-middle market businesses.  Adam has approximately 18 years of experience in private equity investing, corporate development and strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Adam began his private equity career with National City Equity Partners, where he structured and managed private equity investments and helped to build an $800 million private equity portfolio in the lower-middle market. Prior to co-founding Montis Capital, he held management positions and directed corporate development and strategy for netLibrary, a private software company, and for Alexander & Baldwin, a public company with operations in transportation, real estate, energy and agriculture. Adam started his career with Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. where he executed a variety of M&A transactions and financings. Adam earned his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University and his BA from Williams College.  He is active in the community and serves as Senior Warden of St. John's Episcopal Church in Boulder.  Adam is married with two children and resides in Boulder.
