Devin Rau, after nearly two decades experience as an employee in large organizations, Devin saw first-hand how effective communication can help alleviate tensions that arise when scarce resources inhibit the ability of organizational leaders to fulfill the expectations of their employees. That experience gave him the motivation to change careers so that he could take a more active role in helping organizations create and employ collaborative processes in order to get more people involved at more levels in making the decisions that affect them. Conflict resolution, with its focus on collaboration and inclusion, was a natural fit for him. After just three years in the field, he became a Program Manager and finally Partner specializing in Organizational Dynamics and Development in OvalOptions, LLC, a Denver based Conflict Consulting and Management firm. He is a trained and experienced Mediator, Conflict Coach and Facilitator, holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Montana and is finishing a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution at the University of Denver where he is writing his Master's thesis on attitude polarization.
