Matthew Samelson, Esq., is an attorney working with the Getches-Wilkinson Center for the Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment at the University of Colorado. Matt is
currently conducting a comparative law research project of select federal, state, and local
regulations for major shale oil and gas plays across the nations, including Marcellus, Eagle Ford, Niobrara, Bakken, and Piceance. The project is part of a federal grant administered by the Environmentally Friendly Drilling System Technology Integration Program.
