Storgaard, Esq., serves as a Chief Deputy District Attorney in Colorado's 23rd Judicial District, where he has prosecuted the full spectrum of criminal offenses throughout his career and currently focuses on training new attorneys. He is a leading advocate for integrating data‑driven methods and modern technology into prosecution. Garrik serves on multiple statewide committees dedicated to transparency and innovation in the criminal justice system, including the Senate Bill 25‑240 E‑Discovery Task Force, the Prosecutorial Performance Indicators Committee, and the Colorado District Attorney's Council Training Committee. His leadership and contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including CDAC's Outstanding Faculty Award, MADD's Champion Award, and the University of Denver's Director's Award for Excellence in Education. A long‑time adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Garrik spent 11 years training the next generation of trial lawyers there and continues to present statewide on evidence, discovery, and trial advocacy.
