Albert (Chip) Hutzler is a Partner at HealthCare Appraisers, with more than 20 years of experience as a financial analyst and more than 25 years of experience as an attorney, including positions in healthcare law, private equity investment banking, strategic business development and business affairs. At HealthCare Appraisers, Mr. Hutzler has focused on fair market value analysis of hospital arrangements with physicians for clients nationwide, including on-call arrangements, medical directorships, employment arrangements, clinical trial agreements and agreements related to clinically integrated networks. Mr. Hutzler is Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and holds the degrees of Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School, and Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Maryland. He is a regular speaker on healthcare valuation issues, and is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), where he served as Vice Chair of the Hospitals and Health Systems Practice Group from 2009 to 2015, and served as the founding Chair of the FMV Affinity Group from 2007 to 2009. He also serves as a Vice Chair of the Physician Issues Interest Group for the ABA’s Health Law Section.
