James R. Heath, P.E., is a Lead Modeler for the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR). He has worked in the water resources industry since 2001 and with the DWR starting in 2010. He is the Lead Modeler on the Rio Grande Decision Support System and assists in the guidance of this and other aspects of Colorado's Decision Support Systems. Prior to joining DWR he worked in the private sector as a water resources engineer for clients in both the public and private sectors on projects including water rights analyses; augmentation plans; hydrologic investigations of precipitation, surface water, and ground water supplies; coordination of municipal water supply operations; development/implementation of proprietary water supply planning models; and river basin modeling using StateMod.
