Laura Landon, LLP., has been working in family law since 2009, first as a paralegal routinely assisting in complex litigation matters, and, as of 2024, as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP). Laura has participated in LLP-focused Colorado Supreme Court subcommittees since 2021 and has been delighted to see the new profession come to fruition. Laura serves as the Co-Chair of the LLP Section of the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association, which, as the profession first began, was integral in facilitating paralegals' access to information about the LLP profession. In 2024 she was appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court's LLP Oversight Committee - one of only two non-attorneys on that council - and uses her unique perspective to support the LLP practitioners as to changes in the profession, rules related thereto and, where applicable, the family law field of law. Laura is a member of several Bar associations and remains active in the family law community.
