D. Hull Youngblood, Jr., Esq., is an amateur magician, an avid fisherman, and a sought after CLE speaker across the United States, in addition to being the name partner in the Texas based law firm of Youngblood & Associates. Hull is a 35 year lawyer who began his legal career as a commercial litigator trying more than 200 bench trials and dozens of jury trials. 20 years ago, Hull's commercial clients began asking for his advice on contracts and transactions before they entered into them. The result was a transformation of Hull's practice from litigating disputes over contracts written by others, to writing contracts over which there should be no disputes. Hull now focuses his practice on government contracting and public-private partnerships. Hull was a former Chairman of the Board of the State Bar of Texas, Chair of the Texas Minimum Continuing Legal Education Committee for 5 years, and served as Chair of the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Hull is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians, and is the immediate past president of the Texas Association of Magicians. Hull has delivered more than 200 CLE presentations in Texas, California, Florida, Hawaii, Colorado, Washington, Arkansas, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia.
