Linda K. McLeod is a partner at the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, with over 20 years of experience handling litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and complex USPTO prosecution matters. Before joining Finnegan, Linda gained significant trademark expertise while holding the positions of Administrative Trademark Judge and Interlocutory Attorney with the TTAB, and Examining Attorney for the USPTO.  As an Administrative Trademark Judge, she presided over opposition and cancellation proceedings and ex parte appeals, and ruled on a wide variety of motions before the TTAB. Linda frequently speaks on TTAB practice and procedure before intellectual property and other organizations, including AIPLA, INTA, IPIC, and various state bar associations.  She has published a number of articles in legal journals and other publications focusing on TTAB and USPTO practice and procedure. Linda has been recognized by her peers and in-house counsel as a leading trademark practitioner and has been ranked in Legal Media Group's Guide to the World's Leading Trademark Law Practitioners, The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers, and Who's Who Legal: USA-Trademarks. She received her LL.M. in Trade Regulation (Intellectual Property) from New York University School of Law, her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, and her B.A. in Economics from Willamette University.
