Cheryl Frenette is the Deputy Chief Probation Officer in the Denver District Court Probation Department. From 2004-2011 she supervised the Mental Health Unit which included the Mental Health Docket of the Denver Drug Court. She worked as a Probation Officer from 1995-2004 with most of her work with those that suffer from a Serious and Persistent Mental Illness. Mrs. Frenette is a member of the Behavioral Health Transformation Council, is actively involved in the Mental Health Subcommittee of the Denver Crime Prevention and Control Commission as well as the Opiate Advisory Committee with the Division of Behavioral Health. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development from Colorado State University.
