Andrew Jagenow focuses his practice on patent portfolio strategy and development, U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and intellectual property diligence. He practices in the firm's Mechanical Practice Group, but has experience in a broad array of technology areas, including mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, plastic products and processes, and software. Specifically, he has experience in medical diagnostic and treatment devices, slide imaging systems, microarray printers, consumer products, robots, personal defense devices, building materials, solar energy systems, materials processing and manufacture, athletic and exercise equipment, computer peripherals, and computer component testing equipment. Andrew has represented clients during prosecution and reexamination proceedings, as well as in appeals before the U.S. Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and the appellate divisions of foreign patent offices. Andrew's diligence experience includes both target- and investor-side IP diligence in the context of company formation, funding, and acquisition. During law school, Andrew was a full-semester intern in 2003 to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
