John E. Popovich Jr
Honorable John E. Popovich, Jr., is a District Court Judge with the 17th Judicial District. He was appointed to the District Court bench in 1986. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Popovich was an attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Colorado, was in private practice and served as a District Court Magistrate for the First Judicial District. Judge Popovich received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 1971 and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1972.
