Kate M. Lewis, Esq., is a Partner at Cooper Ramp Cage Bucar Lewis, LLC. Kate is currently the Past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Executive Council, is a Past-President of the Metro Denver Interdisciplinary Committee, was the Co-Chair of the Family Law Institute in 2020 and 2023, and enjoys learning and lecturing about the intersection between the mental health profession and family law. She specializes her practice in complex asset divorce and high conflict parenting disputes, including cases involving mental health issues, domestic violence, and substance abuse. Kate obtained her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University. Kate went to law school solely with the intent of practicing family law and she truly enjoys the practice. Kate has been honored to receive a Rising Star and Super Lawyer award each year since 2014. Kate was also voted Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for family law arbitration in 2022 and has been voted a 5280 Top Lawyer since 2022. Kate is also an Ironman, marathoner, ultra-marathoner, and general endurance enthusiast. In 2021 Kate completed the Leadville 100 ultramarathon. Her Co-Presenter, Judge J. Keith Collins has completed two 100-mile races. Kate has signed up for another one in an effort to keep up with the Judge.
