Mystery Murphy, Esq., is an attorney at Cooley LLP and specializes in the representation of startup, emerging growth and public companies with an emphasis on company formations, venture capital financings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Ms. Murphy was an Entrepreneurial Fellow at the Silicon Flatirons Center in Boulder, Colorado where her work related to entrepreneurship and innovations in transactional legal education. She also served as legal intern to Hon. Chief Justice Woodfin Jones, Texas Third District Court of Appeals and to Hon. Chief Justice Michael L. Bender, Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Murphy obtained her J.D. in 2013 from the University of Colorado Law School where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate member of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy. She earned her B.A. in 2008 in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
