Jonathan (Jon) White, Esq., is Assistant Regulation Counsel at the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel. He is in the Office’s trial division. He previously served as Professional Development Counsel assisting the Office with the maintenance and development of educational programming to help lawyers meet their obligations under the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct. He has also served as Inventory Counsel. As Inventory Counsel, he was appointed to wind down law practices and return client files and property in situations where a lawyer died, became disabled, or could not practice due to significant discipline. Mr. White rejoined the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel in November 2016 after previously working for the office as a law clerk and intern in 2009 and 2010. Prior to rejoining the Office, Mr. White practiced civil defense litigation for four years and was a law clerk to the Honorable Christopher Cross and the Honorable Vincent White of the Douglas County District Court. He graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010. He volunteers as counsel to the National Client Protection Organization. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado LGBT Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association’s Ethics Committee. Mr. White is an avid runner.
