Brianna Dowling, Esq., is a vice president and general counsel of Land Title Guarantee Company. Prior to that role, she served as Claims Counsel and Regional Claims Manager for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Prior to her work in the real estate and title industries, she worked in private practice at a small family law firm outside of Boston, MA. In her role as general counsel, Ms. Dowling provides advice to internal closing and title professionals regarding all aspects of real estate closings, title examinations, and the insurability of titles. She also works closely with real estate brokers and attorneys on complex title issues and matters relating to real estate closings. She advises regarding regulatory matters, compliance, vendor management, general business matters, and oversees all company litigation. Ms. Dowling currently serves as a director of the Land Title Association of Colorado, the chair of the Colorado Title Insurance Commission, a member of the Colorado Bar Association's Title Standards Committee, and is a former member of the Colorado Bar Association's Real Estate Section Council. She is a frequent presenter to attorneys, title professionals, and real estate brokers on the topics of real estate, title insurance, claims practice, survey issues, and title insurance and real estate forms.
