Ross Hoogerhyde, Esq., is an associate in the Denver office of Gordan & Rees, LLP in Denver Colorado. He is a member of the Construction, Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights practice groups. Mr. Hoogerhyde defends construction defect claims of all sizes, representing nation wide home builders in large multiparty cases. Mr. Hoogerhyde's construction practice also includes the defense of architects and engineers against claims of professional liability. Mr. Hoogerhyde also defends companies in actions involving corporate disputes and employment matters, including a fortune 100 long-term disability provider in claims brought under ERISA by individuals seeking short and long term disability benefits. Mr. Hoogerhyde also has experience defending debt collection companies in actions involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Hoogerhyde has been involved in all stages of corporate chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy matters including arguing first day and contested motions and defending preference and fraudulent transfer actions. He also represents secured creditors to protect and recover their collateral before and during bankruptcy.
