Lorin L. Reisner

Lorin L. Reisner is Deputy Director of the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission. Before joining the SEC in August 2009, Mr. Reisner was a litigation
partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York for more than twelve years. While in private
practice, Mr. Reisner was recognized as a leader in White Collar Crime and Government
Investigations by Chambers (USA), IFLR Benchmark: Litigation and other professional
publications. Mr. Reisner served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District
of New York from 1990-1994, where he investigated and prosecuted financial crimes, public
corruption and racketeering. During his tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he received the
Director’s Award for Superior Performance as an Assistant United States Attorney. Mr. Reisner
received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. from Brandeis University. He also
served as a law clerk to the Honorable Milton Pollack, U.S. District Judge for the Southern
District of New York.
