Joel D. Sayres, Esq., is a partner and the Denver office leader at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, where he focuses on patent litigation and is co-leader of the firm’s PTAB Trials Team. Joel has successfully litigated and argued complex IP disputes before district courts, the Federal Circuit, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, involving numerous technical fields such as optical components, medical devices, inflatable products, aeronautics, and printing technologies. Joel is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Intellectual Property Litigation and has published articles on numerous aspects of IP practice. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
