Maierhofer formed Maierhofer Capital in late 2010 to focus on lower middle market private equity transactions; Mr. Maierhofer is also affiliated with McCarthy Capital. McCarthy is a private equity firm based in Omaha, NE. McCarthy manages over $500M of private equity investments focused in the middle market throughout the Unites States. Mr. Maierhofer joined the firm in 2008 after serving as Co-President of Green Manning Bunch, a regional investment banking firm based in Denver. Prior to joining Green Manning Bunch, Mr. Maierhofer was President and Managing Principal of UniRock Management Corporation, a Denver-based merchant banking firm. He co-founded UniRock in 1988, and he has been involved in numerous middle market transactions in his 25-year private equity and investment banking career. Scott started his career with a bank owned SBIC, United Banks of Colorado (now Wells Fargo). He has served on numerous private company boards and non-profit entities, and currently serves on the boards of Goodwill Industries and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame. Mr. Maierhofer received his B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and his M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
