Jennifer Purrington, Esq., is a staff attorney and team leader at Disability Law Colorado. Disability Law Colorado is the Protection and Advocacy Organization for people with disabilities in Colorado. Disability Law Colorado provides direct legal representation, advocacy, education and legislative analysis. Ms. Purrington has worked with Disability Law Colorado for close to seven years. She leads the Access Team, which focuses on housing and employment discrimination, as well as public accommodations and higher education. She graduated from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law in May 2012. Prior to her law school experience, Ms. Purrington was a special education teacher and AmeriCorps member, teaching in California, Massachusetts, and Minnesota. Her work with Disability Law Colorado has allowed her to tie her interest in education and advocacy together to protect and promote the rights of people with disabilities across the state.
