Meggin Rutherford, Esq., is a partner and attorney, mediator/arbiter, PC/DM, Special Master, and collaborative practitioner at Setter Roche Smith & Shellenberger, LLP. Her practice includes family law, estate planning, and elder law, with expertise in complex assets and compensation, as well as neurodiverse and medically complex families. Whenever possible, Meggin helps clients find creative out-of-court solutions that are focused on the needs of the family. Meggin is the recipient of the 2021 Gary McPherson Young Attorney of the Year Award from the Colorado Bar Association for her work in Collaborative Law. She is a past president of the Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals, the current Vice President for Education and Training, and founder of the Foothills Collaborative Divorce Professionals. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and multitudes of pets, crafting, sewing, and reading.
