Usama H. Ghazi

Usama H. Ghazi, DO is a graduate of Midwestern University - Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and recipient of the class of 2000 Director's Award for outstanding clinical achievement in osteopathic medicine.  He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCLA/VAGLAHS (Los Angeles, California), where he received the Rene Cailliet outstanding senior resident award and a certificate of commendation for outstanding teaching efforts from the UCLA School of Medicine.  Dr. Ghazi completed fellowship training in Pain Management and served as a clinical instructor at the Stanford Interventional Spine Center (Stanford University Medical School Department of Orthopedics, Stanford, California.)  He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is an adjunct assistant professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University in California.

The primary focus of Dr. Ghazi’s outpatient practice is the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.  Dr. Ghazi performs electrodiagnostic and nerve conduction studies.  He also performs interventional injections under flouroscopic guidance in the lumbar, thoracic and cervical regions of the spine.  Dr. Ghazi has Level II Full Accreditation from the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation.  Dr. Ghazi is Medical Director of the Interventional Pain Center at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital in Aurora, CO and in 2011 was named President of Medical Staff.  Dr. Ghazi is a three-time recipient of Outstanding Physcian Award and America's Most Compassionate Physcian Award in 2011 from the Patient Choice Awards.
