Kyle Brenton, Esq., is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Appellate Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. He represents the United States in criminal and civil appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, as well as in post-conviction proceedings in federal prosecutions in the U.S. District Court. Prior to joining the Appellate Division he served three years in the office’s Civil Division, defending the United States, its agencies, and its employees against civil suits in the district court and investigating claims of fraud against the United States. Before entering public service, he was the head of the appellate practice at Childs McCune, LLC, and practiced civil business litigation focusing on appeals at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Kyle clerked for the Honorable David M. Ebel on the Tenth Circuit.
