Erin C. Montgomery

Elliott & Montgomery
Erin Montgomery, Esq., has been practicing workers' compensation exclusively since 2010. She currently sits on the Workers' Compensation Education Association Board of Directors. She is the president-elect of the WCEA, and will serve as president for the 2026-2028 term. She is actively involved with the WCEA's legislative committee, and with that team has helped pass new laws, including one to expand the rights of employees of the State of Colorado. Erin has represented claimants from all over Colorado who have been injured in a wide variety of professions and enjoys the fast-paced field of workers' compensation law that is constantly evolving. She takes great pride in advocating to maximize the benefits and medical treatment for injured workers to get back to supporting their families. Having spent three years of her workers' compensation career practicing in-house for the State of Colorado at the Colorado Attorney General's Office, she gained valuable experience and insight into the defense side and how insurance adjusters assess and handle claims. Erin is a Colorado native, and attended both college and law school at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has clerked or practiced law in Trinidad, Boulder, Glenwood Springs, and Grand Junction before settling in Denver. Working with clients and appearing before judges from such a diverse cross section of the State was invaluable in shaping her experience as an attorney. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, hiking, reading, escaping to the mountains and desert, and catching country concerts and sporting events in the city.
