Scott G. Mefford

Scott G. Mefford, C.P.G., is a native of Colorado and has worked in the field of ground water hydrogeology in the state since 1973. He attended the Colorado School of Mines, where he received a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering in 1971. He is currently president of Hydrokinetics, Inc., a consulting groundwater engineering firm based in Golden, Colorado. Scott is a Certified Professional Geologist (Colorado), and a Registered Professional Geologist in Wyoming. He is a Past President of the Colorado Ground Water Association (CGWA), has taught Groundwater and Environmental Engineering at Metropolitan State College in Denver, and has previously taught the Groundwater 101 Course for the Bar Association. He frequently testifies as an expert in cases involving groundwater litigation, has taught a course in the preparation of engineering materials for trial through the CGWA, and participated on panels helping review new rules and regulations proposed by the State Engineers Office.
