Reneé Pace has been a veterans advocate for 23 years. She has been with The Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs, as a state veterans service officer, for the last 10 years. Thirteen years before that she worked for The Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs, as a state veterans service officer.
In her position she not only files paperwork for benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, she also does appeals when denied and hearings before the judges from the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
She is also The Disabled Veterans Property Exemption Manager. It is her duty to approve all applications for the county assessors for this program.
She is the mother of two grown married girls and Nana to three wonderful granddaughters. She moved to this area after both of her children moved here and started having children.
